On Saturday, April 15th, the junior class, as well as other underclassmen, provided an amazing “Casino Night” for their deserving senior class! The junior class sponsors were Brooke Maresh and John Meisetschleager, who incidentally lead the Grand March! The junior class, along with Tia Meisetschleager, Tasha Mezik, and Carol Dvorak, transformed the facility into the perfect casino for the night.. The junior class provided a catered meal by Alley Bar B-Q, featuring chicken fried steak, twice baked potatoes and green beans. Following the meal, students voted for the recipients of the Superlatives Awards that were presented shortly afterward. The coveted Prom King and Queen were presented to the honorable Kaddin Tesch and Hope Kirkland. Other awards presented were for Best Ride, which was procured by Kaddin Tesch and Rosa Juarez, and Best Dressed that went to Jonathon Lugo and Estefania Colchado.Cutest couple was awarded toKaddin Tesch and Mackenzie Berger. A variety of musical selections in genres such as Tejano, line dancing music, and the like, were provided by Val Ramirez. Students enjoyed line dancing to the Cuban Shuffle, Copperhead Row, and Footloose! Great prizes were raffled off that included: gift cards, T.V., a dorm-sized refrigerator, earbuds, speakers and more! The senior class would like to express their appreciation for the efforts by all involved, especially the junior class, who fundraised, served, decorated, and just created a beautiful night for all!
