What do I want to do after being graduated from Moulton High School? How can I be helpful to my community, state, and country? These are the kinds questions Moulton ISD staff wants our students to be considering daily. To address these questions, Mrs. Laura Kusak, Moulton’s proactive counselor, escorted the Juniors and Seniors on Monday, September 23rd, to the 2019 Gonzales Area College/Career Fair. Thrive Health Center in Gonzales provided the venue, and over 20 representatives from Texas colleges and trade schools brought information to share with inquisitive students. Companies representing work places, trade schools, universities, military, and junior colleges presented their opportunities to students from all over the area. In addition, the Seguin Beauty School provided hands on activities for students interested in cosmetology. Recruiting officers for the armed forces made themselves available for any student interested in careers in the military. Our Moulton ISD students handled themselves admirably and gained some variable options for achieving their future ambitions. Thanks to Mrs. Dornak, MISD High School principal, for providing the time and opportunity to take the trip and to Mr. Rothbauer for transporting the students. Thanks, again, Laura Kusak, for all you do on our student population’s behalf.
