Mental Health Week

This week the Student Council is hosting Mental Health Awareness Week, and we aim to bring to light the different types of issues you may be experiencing, espcially today as we live through this pandemic. Check out the posters on the trophy cases; there is good information about anxiety, depression, eating disorders, stress, OCD, ADHD, and many more.

Thank you also for filling out the survey last week; we had 89 responses! The data is also posted on the trophy case, so take a look at that.

Lastly, we want to offer you the Lifeline hotline number in case you need someone to talk to about anything.

This line is not only for people thinking about suicide. It's there if you just need someone to talk to. People call to talk about lots of things: substance abuse, economic worries, relationships, sexual identity, getting over abuse, depression, mental and physical illness, and loneliness, to name a few.

StuCo cares about each and every one of you, and we want you to know that you are not alone. Reach out and talk to someone- Mrs. Kusak, your friends, your teachers, your family- anyone. Mental health issues are real. You matter. You are worthy. You are loved.

Thank you.
